Er, not exactly. Al Qadisiya is actually the name of a province in Iraq. A number of state establishments were based there.

Saddam most definitely supported the Palestinians in their struggle to end the illegal Israeli occupation however. Yet for all Saddam’s bluster, he never actually singled out American interests (if he had, he would have been crushed far sooner). Saddam opted instead to provide fanatical assistance to the families of Palestinian suicide bombers. Alas, most countries in the region do exactly the same.

So if Saddam did conduct ops against the US, how would you know? It's called a SECRET because they don't want you to KNOW about it. DDDDUUUUUHHHHH!!!!! Ray Robison

I am not over analysing anything - merely stating the obvious.

Saddam openly supported Palestinian resistance fighters. This is a matter of record.

To hit "American Interests" in regional context almost certainly means to hit Israel.

"...to liberate Palestine by striking Israel."

Sorry Stephen but that is not the right translation of the document, you are making conjecture and creating things that are not in the letter. The letter clearly separates the two events "to liberate Palestine and to strike American interests". These two events are separate from each. If they were connected it would have been written and worded in different way than the one shown in the letter.
I know very well how to read and understand Arabic and I know very well what everything means in this letter.

Thank you for posting the accurate translated disclosures. How many of you have actually been in country engaging the enemy? I have, and trust me; Sadaam is worse than what the American media is leading you to believe.

We watched all the anti-American, conjecture and inaccurate bullcrap on CNN while we were there is scandalous and unethical journalism. Every attempt is brought to bear right here in this country to weaken the advantages national security has gained-and never should have lost-or had to been forced to justify. The New York Times should be closed, its leaders jailed for knowingly publishing any indicator of this the critical surveillance program, and Democrats need to clean their own house.

I have no respect for them, and few Republicans who compromise national security for their own welfare first.

As far as anti-war demonstrators-to include Cindy Sheehan and the same ilk of hurray for me John Kerry, human rights advocates and those who demonstrate against military recruitment on college campuses-I have a big question that none of them have answered on any blog.

During the Clinton years alone, when the blood of your countrymen was shed innocently, murdered increasingly where was your hue and cry? Silent, absent and phony-and your demonstrations now show you in support of murders and tyranny while you profess to march for peace.

You suck the benefits that people like me provide, and from a position of surfeit, affluence and comfort demonstrate and provide moral quarter to those who murder your countrymen.

You have done nothing to sacrifice your own convenience for anyone but your own horde and clique led, spoiled, overfed and over stimulated asses, and you take for granted this gem of a nation.

Again thank you for posting the translations, and in the weeks and months ahead you will see the truth.
